Frame with final diagonals. Tack welds being converted to full welds: Working out how the muffler will go: Overall, looking to get the engine fired up and the drive-train exercised.

So did you take into consideration where everything was going to sit when you built the chassis? And are you using a T-20 transmission? Is that a FWD or a RWD? It looks like a very solid chassis I'm impressed. I want so badly to start working on my tank but living on my own now doesn't leave me with a whole lot of play money, plus there always seems to be some bump in the road preventing me from doing anything extracurricular. Keep up the great work though, it looks amazing, I'd like to see a little show down between you and Maxxon's tank.

I routinely install and remove the components to make sure I haven't closed off their access. All drivetrain, brake calipers, battery all have their designated spots. I am using the T-20. It has FWD / N / REV separate on each side. See T-20 in front of driver's seat in pic below. I forget which is Maxxon's tank. I am sure mine will have the weakness of not having a turret. I am not sure what to suggest as an advantage I might have. There is a lot to building this Tankette. I may be making mistakes that I have to fix after field testing, but I found a local expert to help me avoid some of the huge, basic mistakes. If I were doig this strictly for paintball, I think I would go more like SS Black Angel's Hetzer or the one based on a gator. I am making this one mostly to build skills and knowledge.

Nice welds too. And I'd have to say your biggest advantage is going to be your agility and size you're gonna be able to go places the rest of the tanks aren't.

You get a track up and running yet?

You get a track up and running yet? Not yet. I got them to a certain point, but since my floor space freed up with the onset of springtime, I moved back to the bigger items, such as the frame and drivetrain. Last time in the barn, I was positioning the alternator to figure out where to make a bracket for it. I recently dragged the suspension rails out onto the floor to think about mounting them up.
