Wait for another week or two, and I might have a sample of my "final" design. I have been working it over to make it easier to build.

if your gonna be screwing the plates together around the conveyor belt then you might want to think about counter sinking the screws so you don't wear the heads off the screws from running over them all the time and in turn start loosing pieces of track. Just a thought. Otherwise looks freaking amazing.

Just a thought. Otherwise looks freaking amazing. I forget that I post a "lot" of details over at ScaledTanks and put a much briefer description here. I have countersinking in the plans. I tried a little bit already, but my drill spins too fast for doing that, so I have to get that in order. So, yes, all flathead screws/bolts with countersinking everywhere. The bolts will actually punch through the conveyor belt, too.

Here was my crude attempt to countersink:

Yeah countersinking is kinda weird. I like to go in a circular motion with the drill to get an even cut out (it doesn't look all lopsided). And the cut out part has to be at least as wide as the head of the screw for it to truly be sunk in.

Is there any tools that will countersink ?
