Some pipe braces being added in after they are notched to intersect each other in a 'X' pattern.

Definitely keep us updated on the tracks. It has always been the hardest thing to figure out on a build. Sharing what you find out what works and what doesn't would help greatly!

Starting to prototype the tracks: Keep in mind those track guide teeth should be made so there is no sharp edge near the roadwheel. I'd grind em at an angle on the tops and sides

Yep. Here is the plan where the top of the tooth is to be bent out:

You'll have to let us know how it works when you've got a full track ready to roll. How far apart are you putting each of the teeth?

How are you hinging each of the tracks too?

How are you hinging each of the tracks too? If you look at this pic, you can see that there is an upper plate with the tooth welded onto it, then there is a lower plate with a gap between the plates. In that space will be a 1/4" thick conveyor belt. Actually a strip of conveyor belt on each left and right half of the track link, with a separation between the belts to allow the sprocket teeth to be in the middle of them to grab that solid square bar.
