Finally had a little spare cash and picked up those new 20 round ZETAMAGS. These are capable of shooting F/S rounds as well as 68 cal.I also picked up a GUNHEAD first strike barrel adapter. This goes inside the TPX. As you can see we also picked up the air adapter kit. This lets you attach a remote line on the end of your TPX. I was thinking of using this in the tank when im driving. Could easily shoot out a window or a door port hole. Will post pictures whne we install the kit.

I have been curious how much time/opportunity does the driver have to be a shooter. I hadn't been thinking about equiping my tank driver with a marker. Should I? Would he be better for tank survival if he were always adjusting the tank's position, or are there times when he must be used as a shooter?

Definitely have a marker to use. If you are driving and have limited space. You really need a small marker. Its a pain in the ass trying to shoot and drive with a long marker. Yes they will be times that you will have to shoot as a driver.

You know, I have never played around tanks, so I learn a lot here. What would be a situation where the driver would want to shoot - I can't picture it. Somehow, I imagine the tank driver always moving back and forth, advancing, retreating, hands on the steering controls, but that is without any actual experience I just imagine it.
If I can picture how/when the driver would want to be shooting, I might design in some support for doing this, such as fixed markers that are fired with a push-button on the steering controls - if the driver would just need to spray paintballs forward. If the driver might need to shoot in any direction, I might install a small marker for him.
I don't think my driver will have a free hand while actually driving, BTW.

theres pleanty of time where the tank sits in place and shioots it out with its paintguns vs the grunts. you cant always charge into them if they have rpg support or if the field allows grenades to be used. alot of the games we play at have thousands of players so breaking through the line isnt as easy as at the smaller games

I know a guy in Canada who uses these magazines in his sten paintball gun. So he has a real mag fed ww2 marker. Pretty cool.
