Pics of the tank with the front cage. The rear door was made at an angle to ensure that it self closes regardless of elevation. ABOVE: the green tank in above post is the main air station 3000psi.

I like your build a lot. It gives me a lot of really good ideas. If I had to pick one thing I didn't like about it, it would be your turret slew. Good concept, not enough support. It looks like, to me, that if you were to get jarred in any direction too hard, you would loose your entire turret completely, along with anything it's attached to inside the tank. How to fix that? ... Maybe a couple of j hooks going up inside the turret, positioned in such a way that if the turret did decide to bail, the hooks would catch the turret for you and all you would have to do is re-track the turret.? You may have thought of this already but, just a thought. Wouldn't want anyone getting hurt from the turret suddenly dislodging itself from the tank.

Also I would put another ring up coming our of the top of the tank, surrounding the turret to keep stray fire from reaching the gunner. Looks like there's a decent size gap between the tank itself and the bottom of the turret.

I like it. How does that canon shoot? I agree with Spawn. You must cover your canon mount....... If there is no protection for your canon operator. He will be very un happy , once the shooting begins.

I am disappointed in your lack of faith.....lol...no seriously u all have valid points, all of which have been counted for already, we just haven't implemented them yet. Spawn, we will have under rollers which will prevent the turret from falling off track. We also will have an aluminum sheet metal to create a band around the spacing between the slew and hull. A grate will be used around the cannon for gunner protection, similar to the front of the tank and we will have a lid and door on the turret as well. All these things have been thought out,we are just staying methodical and moving one step at a time, hopefully I will be working on this soon, not much more needs to be done before its battle ready. More pics to come.

Awesome. I wasn't trying to shoot down your build just pointing out some things I noticed based off of the pics I was looking at. I have no doubt it will be an amazing tank when it's all said and done.

I know u weren't shooting it down buddy, no offense taken Yes we are painting it a sumpfmuster 43 pattern. Bought all the paint already. Finishes slew cover and brackets plus under roller system today. Also got half the turret grating done. Next big step is getting the canon all rigged up, I obtained a smaller expansion chamber using a 10lb fire extinguisher which will work better. Just have to rig.
